This is bollocks, you know. The whole school deal. They're just trying to grind out little mindless automatons that'll be good little cogs in the machine of society. They don't care about us learning. Just grinding out our little quirks and independent thoughts until we fit in.

Bugger that. I may go to classes and play their little games, but I don't give a crap about society, and I'm plenty happy not fitting in.

Might do this place good to have a broken cog. Shake things up a bit.

[He lights a cigarette and leans back, putting his feet on the table.]

Not that they'd ever appreciate it. Too busy being scandalized by anything different.

[Buffy looks up at him, twirling a strand of hair around her finger] Depends on what you had in mind.

[He chuckles and reaches a hand out to push her hair out of her face.]

We could slip away for a while. I know places we wouldn't be interrupted.

[Buffy glances at her phone, considers the classes she'll be skipping and then shrugs] Okay but I have to be in the gym in a half hour. The gym is not going to transform itself from disgusting to acceptable without me.

[He reaches for her hand with a smile and starts leading her away.]

Don't think even you can pull off that miracle.

[She takes his hand, content to let him lead the way. She pouts at his comment though]

Well someone's got to at least try. It smells like sweaty socks in there.

And that person's got to be you? [He pulls her into a broom closet and steals a kiss as he closes the door.]

[Oh broom closet. Buffy knows you well.
