All right, my two cents on the murder thing.

I like fighting. A lot. My biggest complaint about this bloody place is that there's not enough things to hit on a daily basis.

So if you decide to try and murder anyone while I'm around?

As for Rex, why bother? The only reason he threw his little nanomite tantrum was for attention. Killing him'll only make him feel validated. If you really want to annoy him, ignore him. Or mock him mercilessly, which is more fun.

Yes, absolutely. Let us make light of that. Lashing out by an Inmate who had previously been nonviolent must, indeed, simply be a cry for attention.

And boasting about one's prowess on the battlefield is just a friendly disclaimer.

He's the one who said it, mate, not me. Wardens made his quality of life worse and didn't pay attention for him. Sounds to me like your average cry for attention. Course, when normal people do it, doesn't usually involve taking over my mind.

I'm no one's bloody victim. But he took over my mind. Made me try and hurt people I care about. That's not something I forgive.

You can pity him and talk about how the poor wanker needs help. I'll mock him. And be glad I had this bloody revelation. I wanted to kill him before.

Then you are not the one to help him, by your own admission. But you have no affair in turning the minds of others away from seeing some validity in his claim.

Choosing not to kill him does not make you a better person, just more intelligent. It's far too temporary a solution in this place.

As for mocking him -- I cannot fault you that. I would just sooner not see the entire barge take your word as gospel.
