Well, I heard of this one vampire in Ankh-Morpork who had a vial of blood around his neck, which, if he turned into a pile of dust due to light exposure, it smashes, and re-constructs him.

I think you might be more sensitive than the vampires in my world.

...I think the blood would turn to dust as well. And if it didn't, you'd just have a bloody pile of dust. Blood's good at healing us, but not that good.
