[Spike is sick of being in the infirmary. He's not really feeling healthy by any definition of the word, but he didn't get where he is today by letting things like that get in his way.]

Right. Checking myself out, doc!

[He doesn't wait for an answer before swinging his legs out of the bed. He gets hit by a wave of dizziness, but he puts a hand on the wall until it subsides. Then he grabs his coat and starts making his way slowly out of the infirmary. If any doctor tries to stop him, he will glare. He's not really over his death toll, but he's going to spend the rest of it in his own room with his own Passions DVDs. And he will make it, even if he has to stop a few times and take the elevator.]



[ooc: Open for replies over the journals, for which we can assume some elapsed time because he isn't responding until he reaches his destination, or spam from anyone in the medical room, near his room, or anywhere in between. Also, of course, open to horribly awkward hugs. Or non-awkward hugs, but those seem less likely.]

[Andrew nods as he notices Spike straighten up. After a second of staring, though, Andrew throws his arms around his "friend" in a firm hug, even though his common sense is shouting that this is the worst idea ever. Ever. But he can't help himself! He just needed to hug Spike and now he's doing it and, well, he likes hugging, but he just knows that Spike is going to bite him for this...]

[Bite him? Perhaps. Or alternatively, Spike will hug him back just as firmly, if not a little more because he's not exactly having the easiest time standing. Right up until the moment passes and he wonders why exactly he's hugging Andrew. So he pulls back and gives him a confused look.]

[That was probably the most awesome hug Andrew has ever had. And possibly the only time someone has ever hugged Andrew. But he drops his arms and steps away as soon as Spike pulls back. He looks somewhere between confused and scared.]

Uhm... I... I'm sorry...?

[Spike mostly just looks confused.]

Yeah. Right. That was... [He blinks and shakes his head.] Anyway. [He points towards his cabin.] Thought I'd just... watch telly or something. Better than staying in that sodding infirmary another minute.
