I was exclusively attracted to a single man, where as I had three wives before coming here. I also apparently paid too few visits to the barber. [Though as far as he knows that might have been because of the war.]

Uh, I guess that's different, then. [And sort of nice to hear. If he was attracted to someone to whom he wouldn't usually be attracted, maybe it's the same with Buffy. If only she'd talk to him.]

I was more forgiving and less suspicious. Minor details were different but enough that I felt unsettled later.

In any case, I'm sure we were in different enough circumstances that our decisions then have no bearing on our decisions now. Certainly, if you went back to do things with all of your memories intact, you would conduct yourself differently.
